A Day in the Life: Meet the Residents of Niiralan Tila
Lumi
The daughter of Inari, has shown she is growing to be like her mother in kindness and smarts. Although she has been weened from her mother for some time now, she is always still always wanting to be close to her. Whenever it is milking time Lumi always runs to be with her mother on the milk stand; to eat breakfast and dinner with her. And sometimes she tries to sneak some milk from her mother like old times. She is the braver of the two goat kids, her best friend Lucy is still shy but thanks to Lumi’s help is becoming a little more social each day.
Lumi can always be seen with her mother in and outside the pasture.
Lumi loves to suck on wiggly fingers as it reminds her of her mother and is always welcoming to people. Her
favorite treats include dandelions as well and apple tree leaves. Banana peels
she leaves to her mother. She loves to jump around on rocks and structures and to try to show that she herself can be tough like her mama but playfully knocking heads with the sheep.
